Dan and I were internet acquaintances for a long time before I finally met him last year when I went over to photograph his best cat friend who would be leaving him shortly. Later last year, he asked me to photograph his wedding to Kate in Duluth this fall.
Kate and Dan were the most easy-going, laid back wedding couple. Their wedding was so very much them – low-key, fun shoes, bikes, Scrabble, Secret Service ring bearers, ninja cake toppers – and going through the photos, it was obvious to see how much fun they were having by the number of photos in which they were cracking up.
I was glad to be a part of their day.
