I used to think that junior roller derby was hands down the single coolest and most unique activity for kids. And then I learned about circus school!
Circus Juventas is a performing arts circus school in St. Paul. They have juggling, aerial, unicycle, clowning, trampoline and all kinds of other classes and have programs for kids as young as 2.
Last month, I got to photograph one of their performances. What fun skills and amazing confidence these kids learn!

Lisa LaVerdiere - extremely cool- all they had when I was a kid was tumbling. maybe we could dress them up like cats and dogs and have them do a half time entertainment at a Home for Life event a la Cirque de Soleil.
