Okay, back to baby business! I realized that everything I’ve been sharing lately has been somewhat off-topic for someone who photographs babies and kids 95% of the time.

I met Dan a couple of years ago when I photographed one of his dear pets and then met Kate a few years later when I photographed their wedding in Duluth. Then, just as we were making arrangements to do some maternity photos, this little guy surprised everyone and arrived two months early! Thankfully, he was perfectly healthy, although he got to spend his first month in the hospital. The photos below were taken just a few days before his actual due date. He seems to be pretty happy to here. And look at those precious lips!
