1. I’ll be having one more day of mini-sessions on Sunday, November 9th. This will be the last day of sessions with guaranteed holiday delivery (I extended this deadline). For more information on how mini-sessions work, see this post. Please contact me if you’re interested.

2. Holiday sale time! The economy is sad, have you heard? Rather than get all political, I’m just going to cut you a holiday break. Here’s the deal:

- all canvases are $50 off
- all museum mounts 16×20 and larger are $25 off (museum mounts now offered in sizes 8×10 and up)

And a little something we’ll call the Grandparent Special. For any product that you purchase (that’s albums, canvases or museum mounts) between now and Nov 15, you’ll get 25% off any additional identical purchases. For example, order a Gift Album and get your second Gift Album (same images) for 25% off. That way, both sets of Grandparents can have a lovely photo gift. (Okay, I don’t really care who you’re giving them to.)

I’m editing like crazy today, finishing up a few sessions. I’m mostly caught up on emails and phone calls and at the end of today, I’m closing up shop for the holiday weekend.

Just a quick post to share the remaining holiday cards that didn’t make it into the first entry about cards and mini-sessions.

So many things I want to post and so little time with so much to do in it! One thing at a time…

It’s hard to believe that it’s time to start thinking about fall and the holidays when we’re at near 90 temperatures and the kids are spending afternoons running through the sprinklers but it’s true. Time just flies. So a few scheduling items…

Fall/Winter scheduling (Sept-Dec) is now open. Sessions requiring holiday delivery must be completed by November 2nd and orders must be submitted by November 9th. I will still be booking sessions during the remainder of November and December but cannot guarantee holiday delivery for the remaining sessions.

Oh yes, a mini-session…a quick and fun way to get custom Christmas cards! Cards are 5×7 folded (with a few 5×5 exceptions) and professionally printed front and back on linen cardstock. I’m considering adding an additional mini-session date in a more urban location (think downtown) so leave a comment or drop me a note if you’re interested in that and I’ll see what turns out.

Previous and upcoming full-session clients may also order holiday cards.

A belated Happy Fourth courtesy of the Stillwater, MN fireworks. They did a great display, complete with firing of cannons. It seemed like most of Minnesota was there and had arrived earlier than our “let’s get there early!” but we were able to secure a pretty good vantage point down near the water anyway.

Giving some thought to attending the fireworks in Hudson tonight. There’s no such thing as too many fireworks, is there?
