A Mother’s Love
March 5, 2010

A quick note first: I’ve created a new blog for all my photo work that isn’t baby/child/family related. Music, derby, events, etc., etc. will now be posted over here. Please stop by. :)
I got this message via Twitter from Evan’s dad: any way to get a “sneak peak” from Sat. AM? Just one or two on your blog? Pretty please? So I edited a few photos from our session and then, when I went to post them, realized I’d oh-so-smartly deleted the database that powers this blog while I was cleaning out and making more space on my hosting account. Many thanks to my lovely host, VerveHosting.com, who fixed my database within minutes, and with whom I have been hosting for over 10 years now and highly recommend. And now I can share some of these photos!

Laura Biebl: That first one makes me smile :) Those EYES! I see a heartbreaker in the future...
Dave: Yea! Becky wanted to ask you about the sneak peak, so I figured I'd send you a quick tweet to see what you could do. Thanks! Everybody loves them.
Heather: Mandy...these are gorgeous! Great shots! The first one is amazing, you rule.
I meant to knit during the Olympic Opening Ceremonies but I edited beebees instead. :)

LK: Wow! What else can I say? Each one brings a new "Awwwwwwww!"
stalker: they're all adorable. i like the poses/props in 2 and 5 the best.
Amy: knit me an amniotic sack please?! Love them though, you are super duper talented lady. They make my ovaries pop a little though.
Rachel Clare: These are so gorgeous. Makes me want another one, and mine is only 3-months old!!
I know Evan’s parents have been anxiously awaiting their blog update and today I was chastised by my mother for lack of blog updates so here we go! The days are just moving by too quickly and there’s so much going on!
When I stepped in the door to Evan’s house, he smiled and he kept smiling throughout the whole session. What a happy little guy! It’s not hard to see why either, he’s obviously quite adored. :)

He was also just discovering his tongue and the joys of sticking it out.

.K: That last one is LE CUTE!
tara k: what a fun, vibrant session! and wowzers, those are some gorgeous eyes on that little guy...really beautiful work!
Kathy B: Wow what a cute little guy, what a adorable family--like a picture in a magazine!
Allyson: super super cute!!! The family must LOVE these!
Sweet dreams. :)

I’ve got my computer back (so happy with the quick turnaround!) and I finally have a few days without shoots to start catching up on everything else. Good weather for that today, too. Raining and windy outside, I’m happy to be inside, surrounded by cats and having a chance to work. All I need is a cup of soup and I’d be really set.
This little guy was kind of solemn and maybe not my biggest fan but still cute as heck. We took his little red buggy down to their neighborhood park to hang out on the playground and take some photos.

Matt: As usual these are just amazing. I couldn't help but smile while looking through them. Great job Mandy.
Vanessa Lam: I LOVE these! He's so cute and the dimples are priceless. I love the one on the swing and the last one of him exhausted in Mommy's arms. Awesome Mandy!
.K: Oh man, the one smack in the middle where his mom is holding him up (6th) is seriously adorable. I actually said "awwww". Crap, I'm only 23. NO BABIES ALLOWED.
