I love that A.J.’s parents have let his hair grow. He looks like a little rockstar!

My next few sets of photos were taken in downtown Orlando where you can still set foot outside without getting hypothermia. In fact, shortly after this photo, Alex set off running through the fountain.

Don’t mess.

Sarah of Sarah McGee Photography and Jeannette of Wild Curl Photography came over today to play in my makeshift studio. We had a great time! My sister was a lovely and willing model for us, running through various requests for poses and sitting patiently while we discussed f-stops and apertures (or talked in Japanese as she referred to it). I am hoping to drag her back in there soon so that I can continue testing out my new ringflash.

I still haven’t processed all the images but here are a few I liked so far.

My cousin was in town for the holidays and I was lucky enough to see her son three times. Today they came over for lunch and I spent lots of time chasing him around the house with my camera while he pointed out just how child unsafe it is around here. Check out those blue eyes!

I decided that one of my goals this year is to consistently maintain a blog. I’ll be tweaking this one over the next few weeks until it looks and functions like I want it to and then will hopefully continue to share photos as I take them.
