Tracy is the first male model I’ve shot. Luckily he has lots of experience and was great to work with.

There was a really cool old elevator in the building we were shooting with but unfortunately, it was closed. And since we could see the two little clamps that were holding it up, we didn’t chance it. :) But we did open the doors and sneak a few pics in front of it.

mare: um...hubba hubba. LOL nice, um, images. :) seriously tho, great lighting on those first two. nice shadow play.

Just love this girl. She was so comfortable and natural in front of the camera and so darn cute!

And one more of these adorable little cheeks…

Matt O'Harver: These shots are just beautiful. I love the play with the colors with the clothing and the backgrounds used they compliment each other very nicely. Nice work. And who could resist those cheeks!

John Setzler: I love the strong use of environmental color in the first two images, and her sox really rock!

rob: it's like the second coming of mary kate and ashley! (or would that be the third coming?)

MrBionic: I really, really, really want your editing techniques!!!!!

Di: i agree with MrBionic....maybe by putting your editing in a comment would be nice!

Ben: Mandy- Love, Love, Love!!! I love your colors in all of these!! That secret is paying off!!!! Your pp is awesome.... teach me your ways.... nice job! peace

I’ve been kind of tinkering with this blog in the background but last night I gave out the url to several people so I figured I’d better get with it a little more!

These two cuties are twins. Sitting in front of the stoop with hats that came from Italy with their great-grandfather, they looked like grumpy old men spending an afternoon.

rob: omg so cute! the shallow dof is amazing. the muted color versions are the MOST appealing kid shots i've seen in quite a while.

John Setzler: I really like those last 5 as well. I hope you decide to experiment with some black and whites on those too :)

Di: I love how you caught these boys. The hat adds to their character and the background makes the photos even more special.

Matt O'Harver: This is another amazing series here. I'm sure the parents would love to have these as prints. Such a wonderful job capturing the eyes and the emotion.

Joanna is just getting back into modeling and was really fun to photograph. We didn’t spend a lot of time shooting but will hopefully be getting together again sometime soon!

rob: the skin tones are spot-on and gorgeous. would be great to see a little bit of light popped behind her hair to separate it from the background.

Di: Very lovely model, you can tell she is inexperienced at posing. She needs to learn how to deal with her legs in ways that don't make her calves look huge. Have her look at lots of fashion magazines and give her ideas on how to pose looking less awkward and uncomfortable.

Yui is a dance student at the University of Minnesota. Originally from Japan, she lived in Hawaii for seven years prior to doing an exchange at the U. She liked it so much, she moved here to finish her education. She was super cute and fun to photograph.
