Don’t Forget to Print | 31 Days of Photo Tips

You’re taking all these great(?) photos but what are you doing with them? Remember not to keep them all on your computer or even just on Facebook. Get those suckers printed! Hang them, put them in albums, create books, do projects.

Mpix.com is a great place to get high quality prints as well as buy a variety of products.

Blurb, My Publisher and Tiny Prints all offer DIY books that are great for special occasions, milestones, years, or any other collection of photos.

Just using your iPhone? Download the Postal Pix app and submit your photos for printing straight from your phone. They even print square format for you Instagram users. (The photo above is of some Postal Pix prints I got from my own Instagram photos.) Printsagram also allows you to print a variety of products like books, posters and stickers.

And, of course, the endless resource that is Pinterest is a great place to find all sorts of photo project ideas. Like photo coasters (I made these with smooth-edged tiles which I like better) or other photo coasters or photo lampshades or photo jewelry or giant wall collages or…well, you get the idea.

Just print!

You can refer back to the post on aspect ratio to help you prepare your prints.
