I connected with this family thanks to a narwhal. What, don’t you network with narwhals? I’d recommend it, it’s much more interesting than your standard networking gig, especially if the narwhal rollerskates. Yep, my narwhal friend is part of the North Star Roller Girls. But before that, she was a nanny with this family. :)

During our session, the family was staying with Grandma in St. Louis Park while their house was remodeled. Luckily, Grandma lived in a house with some gorgeous leaves and fun chairs. Little Miss Gemma was super full of energy and had very definite ideas about what she did and did not want to do so we mostly followed her around and captured her being her. And then I went home and took a nap…phew!
